February birthday greetings

Such a busy February. First it's Valentine's Day, then it's CNY. Now, it's birthday celebrations!

I wanna wish Debbie 姑姑 & Cousin Asfand :



Debbie 姑姑's birthday is on 23 Feb and she invited me to her birthday lunch. But I caught a flu and Mummy did not allow me to go out. So, I wasn't able to celebrate her birthday with her.

Cousin Asfand just turned 5 today. I think he'll enjoy his birthday as he likes to eat cakes, especially those with lotsa cream. Must warn him not to eat too much cream as it's not very healthy.

大年初一，头一天。。。

。。。我和爸爸，妈妈去拜年。

It's the year of the Pig! I woke up early to wish Daddy & Mummy a happy CNY. After a long nap, we went to 婆婆's house to wish 外公 & 婆婆 "龙马精神，身体健康". Thereafter, 婆婆 gave me a red packet which looks very tasty. Strangely, I've been receiving these red red packets since new year's eve. They came in all sorts of shapes & sizes. Daddy & Mummy also look very busy passing these red packets around as well. I wonder what they are for?

I dunno what to do with these red packets except to put them in my mouth to see how they taste like. Before I can fathom the taste, Mummy has wringed them off my hands. She put them in a red bag & told me she'll safekeep these red packets for me.

So this is what CNY is all about - visiting the elders, say 恭喜恭喜 and get a red packet. It's easy, I think I should be able to perfect it for 初二. Daddy says there'll be lotsa relatives going 奶奶's house tomorrow. I shall put what I've learnt today to good use tomorrow.

Happy Valentine's Day

Today marks my very first Valentine's Day. Shirley 姑姑 had reunion lunch with her in-laws and I'm also joining them for the lunch. Actually, it's because I'm residing there whilst Daddy & Mummy are at work. So Shirley 姑姑 has no choice but to 'invite' me as well.

Wonder what plans Daddy & Mummy have for me tonight? Will I have some lip-smacking chocs to munch on? Or sweet smelling roses to sniff upon? In any case, I'll enjoy my first Valentine's Day so long Daddy & Mummy are with me.

I wish everyone will have a lovely Valentine's Day today.

Mummy's first project

Mummy is exploring digital scrapbooking now. When I'm fast asleep during the night, she'll browse through all my photographs, shortlist them and arrange them into themes. This is her first project. As you all can see, it is still very amateurish. Hopefully she'll improve as the days go by.

恭喜！ 恭喜！

Yup...I know it's a bit too early to 恭喜恭喜, but the Chinese New Year bug is sure biting me really hard. Firstly, Mummy had start to wash my clothes for CNY. Spring cleaning has also began at home. Though not everything is in place, but I believe Daddy & Mummy will get things done before CNY.

I also went shopping for flowers today. Daddy bought a nice orchid for the house since the one they had last year has withered. I think I contributed to the demise of the orchid since Mummy has no time to water it since I was born.

We also bought a nice plant arrangement for the coffeetable. Hopefully these 2 plants will last longer this year.

I remember when I was still in Mmumm's tummy last CNY, Daddy's car broke down on the first day of CNY! My poor parents gotta take cab for house visitings. But Mummy told me secretly that Daddy is too pampered to take bus.

But I think we won't face this problem this year as Daddy just gotten a new car in September 2006. My ever-sociable Daddy is so proud and "obsessed" with this new car that he joined a group of fellow-Opel enthusiasts. I joined him in one of his many meet-ups today.
